The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) specify the need to provide equipment at work which is suitable and safe for use, maintained in a safe condition and inspected to ensure it remains the case. Good to Go SafetyTM helps to meet these requirements and more.
This innovative tagging and checklist system allows operatives to carry out a pre-use inspection of their equipment to ensure its safety.
A tag is fitted to the equipment and a checklist used to inspect and sign off each inspection, with a duplicate NCR copy created for your management records. A copy is then placed inside the tag to inform everyone of its current status, ensuring employees clearly know when it is ‘good to go’.
Equipment inspections are available for forklifts, ladders, scaffold towers, harnesses, scaffolding, MEWPs and racking. There is even the option to create your own checklist for any specialist equipment. A tamper evident seal can also be used as part of the system to identify any unauthorised access to the tag
